Geoffrey's credits as Musical Director/Conductor include the 2024 Australiasian tour of Miss Saigon (CML/GWB), the 2022/2023 Australian tour of Mary Poppins (MCG/CML), the Australian premiere of The Bridges of Madison County (Neil Gooding Productions/Matthew Management/Hayes Theatre), Aspects Of Love (Hayes Theatre/Walk This Way Productions), On The Town (VCA), Little Women (Federation University), Aladdin (Disney Theatrical Australia), the 25th Anniversary production of Les Misérables (CML/MCG), the Auckland season of Mary Poppins (Disney/CML), Songs For A New World (Blue Saint Productions/Chapel Off Chapel), Diamonds Are For Trevor (Trevor Ashley/Arts Centre Melbourne/MidSumma), and Hello Again (Gaiety/Darlinghurst Theatre). As Associate/Assistant Musical Director for Sweeney Todd (Life Like Co.), Wicked (GFO/Universal), Dirty Rotten Scoundrels (James Anthony Productions), Mary Poppins (Disney/CML), Disney’s High School Musical (Jacobsen/RUG) and Guys And Dolls (Donmar Warehouse/Ambassador). Geoffrey has been a guest conductor with the Darwin Symphony Orchestra and the Canberra Symphony Orchestra and was the Associate Musical Supervisor for the 2021 Korean language production of Wicked (S&Co).
He has musically directed and arranged for numerous corporate events and concerts and given his time to charity events including Light The Night, Twisted Broadway, Hats Off, World AIDS Day and The Rob Guest Endowment. Geoffrey has also written arrangements for events including Carols By Candlelight and The Helpmann Awards and he has collaborated with artists including Andréa Burns, Joshua Henry, Hayden Tee, Marika Aubrey, Simon Gleeson, Toni Lamond, Avigail Herman, Rob Mills, Trevor Ashley, Lucy Durack, David Harris, Virginia Gay and David Campbell. Geoffrey was the Musical Director for The Sydney Cabaret Showcase in 2005, 2007 and 2009.
As a pianist he has played on productions including Tina: The Tina Turner Musical (TEG Dainty), Frozen (Disney), Ragtime (The Production Company), Charlie And The Chocolate Factory (GFO), Muriel’s Wedding (Sydney Theatre Company/Global Creatures), A Chorus Line (TML Enterprises), Into The Woods (ANZ/Rob Guest Endowment), Mamma Mia (Louise Withers), Pippin (Kookaburra), Spring Awakening (Sydney Theatre Company), Priscilla Queen Of The Desert – The Musical (GFO/Back Row Productions) and Altar Boyz (Ovations Live).
Geoffrey held the position of Assistant Conductor with the Sydney Conservatorium Choir for their concerts of Orff’s Carmina Burana and Haydn’s The Creation. Geoffrey is passionate about education and artist development and has facilitated numerous masterclasses and panels. He has been employed by VCA, NIDA and the NSW Department of Education (The Arts Unit) and is in demand as a vocal coach specialising in repertoire and audition technique. Geoffrey’s television and radio work includes recordings for ABC National Radio, appearances on Mornings with Kerri-Anne, Sunrise and The Morning Show, and a member of the Australian Idol choir for two Grand Finals. Geoffrey holds a Bachelor of Music (Performance/Music Education) from the Sydney Conservatorium of Music, an AMusA in piano from the AMEB and was awarded the 2002 Young Citizen of the Year for Willoughby City Council
